Flower Market Day, 10 January 2018

In preparation for the birthday party on the 12th, Mary and I went to the flower market in the morning to buy plants for the upstairs patio.  It felt like old times for me choosing pretty plants and taking them home to decorate for a party.....how many times had I done that in Huntington?  Feels like thousands....The market was lovely!

Mary helped me plant the larger plants.  Then I finished the smaller plants and cleaned up while she did the 12:00 feeding....The patio looked great!

In the afternoon, Mary's business partners, Michel ( sounds like the woman's name, Michelle in English) and Michael (sounds like Mick-i-elle) came for a visit.....we had such a nice visit.  I had to laugh as Mary had each of them holding a baby until I rescued Michel when his twin began to cry.

The day turned out exceedingly well as Paola's Wednesday cook is coming to cook for us on Wednesdays.....and she cooked all day so that we had lots of food on hand.  That turned out to be a wonderful event as Alberto's friend, Gringo,  from Pimentel which is a district of Chiclayo showed up to have dinner with us.    I need to ask Alberto about this tonight.....whether I have the geography correct.  We had so much fun as Gringo kept repeating that he had been assigned to come down to Lima to see Alberto's new family for himself and report back to EVERYONE!  I also became VERY interested as Gringo sells insurance and may be able to find us a plan to put in place for Mary and the twins in the case where we might want to bring them back to the US for treatment.  We definitely need a more affordable plan for this than what we have in place now.
